This job was done for the Electric Wheelchair Hockey team Aarhus Rolling Tigers. My client Kristoffer, chairman for ART, wanted a logo with both reference to the name Aarhus Rolling Tigers, hockey and with lots of power. It was quite a challenge for me, since my graphic style tent to be naive and a bit girly. So when the first sketches was "to cute" - I had to take the job in a different direction.
After some research I found inspiration in stencil graffiti and drew the logo in Adobe Illustrator.
I like the fact that the tigers head is shaped simply by the black lines and the white shadings on the yellow background. Also, I'm quite pleased by the subtle reference of the hockey ball.
